7 1/2 & 15 Horse Power Units

|
15 HP stationary unit. |
15 HP stationary unit. Vacuum in the P.B. series is created by a 6-stage centrifugal exhauster. This unit produces 480 CFM @ 7.5" of HG (102" H2O). This particular unit is hooked up to (1) hand router, (1-2) orbital sanders and (1) 25' hose for clean-up. This unit is in operation at Bristol, A Magellan Aerospace Company.
7 1/2 HP stationary unit. Vacuum in the12-S series uses dual impellers to create the vacuum through positive displacement of air in the pump. This unit produces 145 CFM @ 10.5" HG (143" H2O) This particular unit is hooked up to (2) hand routers, and at the end of the shift is used for clean-up. This unit is in operation at Bristol, A Magellan Aerospace Company.
30 Horse Power Units

30 HP 4-stage centrifugal exhauster produces up to 1,800 CFM @ 5" HG (70" H2O). This particular unit has (1) 2.5" opening, (2) 15' hoses & (2) 8" graduating down to 3" opening that are controlled by slide gates. This unit is in operation at Boeing Canada Technologies. The following thumb nails will show this unit's operation.
Heavy gauge 24" x 72" primary separator uses centrifugal force imparted to the particles throws them against the inside surface of the separator which, along with the drastic drop in conveying velocity, traps about 90% of the conveyed material.
Heavy gauge 30" x 72" secondary separator is used to properly separate the remaining 10% of conveyed material. This separator uses inverted filter sleeves with a filter media of approx. 128 sq. ft. This separator is hooked up to a reverse air bag cleaner, set to clean the filter bags several times per hour.
(1) 2.5" opening captures waste material at the source.
This costume designed inlet is fabricated to follow every move of the router.
(2) 8" graduating down to 3" inlets are used to pick up larger waste material.
